ASTRONAUT - "Sans Noise Suitcase" CDr (Housecraft)

Evidence herein of the first-ever astronaut show, who at the time were billed as "Temple of Three Sides." Reportedly inspired by visions of an imaginary species of drone babes. Many transgressions later, they arrive at the eyeball-less place, and promptly decide to evacuate, based on the general creepy vibe happening. Plovnick eats a dozen roses and has infared lights coming out of his eyeballs. Pan dimensional Manson can walk through walls, but occasionally gets stuck inside them. Lopatin ends up in the Urals with a octograph and sphinx head, and waits for a train to arrive.

Full color collage by Evan Galbicka on matte cardstock folded and stitched on the sides. Insides are splattered in neons with two-sided color insert and cdrs come in polyvinyl slip sleeve w/ color labels.
Edition of 74.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER - "Hollyr" c20 (Sound Holes)

"Third in the out(er) of space series..... OPN delivers a view into the future, a city scape buzzing with unusual patterns, unusual language and unusual feelings.... A kaleidoscope of sounds set this release apart from the earlier works on Deception Island and his contributions in Infinity Window. Controlled use of synth and samples create a multi-dimensional ever changing release."
-Sound Holes

Edition of 74.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER / ANDREW KIRSCHNER split c30 "Heart Of A Champion" (Mistake By The Lake Tapes)

The OPN side is damaged new age + Schnitzler vibes + first ever OPN track with vocals entitled 'Radiation' (almost synth raga or something?)... Tooth brings the Cleveland destructo vibe with feedback and dirt low end; mr. grouch noise, 'ex nihilo' edition.

AVAILABLE

INFINITY WINDOW / AXOLOTL SPLIT c30
"Bone Mosaic" (Sick Head)

"Excellent new split cassette from these two, on Nackt Insecten’s label. The Axolotl side is a free-fall straight into the mouth of nada and is very beautiful while Infinity Window pilot new age keys and devotional atmospheres into zones of irradiated trance."
- Volcanic Tongue

Pro Dubbed.

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER / SLOW LISTENER SPLIT c20
"Bipeds With Devalued Faces" (Archivo de Sangre de Dios)

SL's side-long track is a monster of cloud forms and ghoulish satellite detritus. Smokey and beautiful -- an unusual zone for feedback legend Robin Dickinson. Likewise, Lopatin's side is a foray into static field meditations and dark electricity studies, steadily building into a parabolic war siren??? A mysterious alliance; released on Dickinson's own Archivo de Sangre de Dios label.

"Bubbling washes of analog synth from ONEOHTRIX and some killer lo-fi feedback drones from UK's SLOW LISTENER."
-Hanson

ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER - "TRANSMAT MEMORIES" c35 (Dreamtime Taped Sounds)

"A message from Dan the head, my lost & found brother from back in the synth daze. This audio tape is a leaked document of the Montauk Research Group. Daniel Lopatin has been sent over to 6037 A.D. and these are his interpretations of the inscriptions of the pedestal on which he saw the golden horse. In another time-track, Daniel is also known as Duncan. These are smooth 80's conspiracy tech vibes. Space bleeps. Sequencer waves which would give Peter Baumann the goosebumps. And polysynths and electronic thunder storm that is keeping the dream of Bernard Szajner alive. This is awesome! OPN also plays in INFINITY WINDOW, together with Black Egg Taylor, and is a member of the space research pod Astronaut." -Taped Sounds

ASTRONAUT - "EARLY PERIL" CDr (Insult)

Earliest known Astronaut recordings collected on one compact disc. That's a lot of bang for your buck. What are you gonna do with all that bang? Recorded during the perilous winter of 2006/07 at Watson Labs in Somerville; these sessions would give birth to the Massachusetts School of Cosmic Music, inexorably changing the course and losing the plot entirely. Deathpulse worship, polysynth fractals, low oxygen level jams plus turbo cascading cloud forms = the end all be all homemade kozmik jarmsesh. All while hell's quantum tractor beam says 'where i'm taking you, you won't need eyes."

INFINITY WINDOW - "TRANS FAT" CDr (Chocolate Monk)

"Great mulched 'new age' synth bliss from a Black Egg goon and one of the gonks from Astronaut. Feel a cloud envelope yr head." -Dylan Nyoukis, Choclate Monk

"Why treat your ears to the merely fried when they could be, shall we say, Wahnfried? Koshmiche-synths duo of Taylor Richardson (undisputed shroom snorkling champ of the North East) & a vibration-channeling dude named Dan Lopatin. A few creeper moments of giallo/porn keys blossom into a full card wrestling match with a 6000-armed guitar-cable sea creature. Verb bubbles will float you. Sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-bass will ensure your car tires vibrate right off the pavement." -Weirdo Records

MAGIC ONEOHTRIX POINT NEVER - "BETRAYED IN THE OCTAGON" c44 (Deception Island)

"By now, Boston-native synth auteur Daniel Lopatin's reputation should precede him, whether as a result of his two cryptic solo dispatches as Dania Shapes or the superhuman focus he brings to his work with the neokosmiche trio Astronaut. "Betrayed in the Octagon" is his third solo release in as many years, which is as much an oddity in this era of enforced prolificity as the level of craft he brings to this tape. While the scene-at-large has had some time to catch up to Lopatin's longstanding fascination with the old teutonic masters of the sequencer and their ensuing private press diaspora, his ability to underscore with tact and subtlety the lines of sympathetic resonance between the Berlin school and Giorgio Moroder, John Carpenter, the tearstained pillows of the polysynth epoch, and the awful bliss of being really fucking drunk in a hot tub remains entirely his own, and the hallmark of a rare talent." -Bee Mask

ASTRONAUT - "DARKEST BREADS" c20 (Mistake By The Lake)

Astronaut found themselves in A.R. Plovnick's Aladdin Garden of delights with Adam Watt of Healing Feeling behind the macbook. Incidental bread factory sound colored the sky. Sonar doppler birth, nebula systemscapes and 1 million years total brain death.

"Cosmic Boston/Brooklyn Synth....and blown out drone hiss...RULES. Could have been a private press LP from 1974..." -Hanson
